Installation Environment

Installation Requirements for Laser Pipe Cutting Machine

Environmental Conditions: The fiber laser source should be operated at 15–35°C with relative humidity below 85%.

Power Supply: On-site distribution cabinet must provide 380V, 50Hz, three-phase four-wire power with short-circuit protection.

Grounding: A dedicated grounding system is required, with resistance not exceeding 4Ω.

Lifting & Handling: Provide suitable lifting equipment and personnel for machine installation.

Commissioning Materials: Prepare necessary materials for on-site testing, such as steel plates.

Auxiliary Conditions:

1.Cutting assist gases: Nitrogen (N₂) and Oxygen (O₂).

2.Clean, oil-free compressed air supply system.

Foundation Requirements: Concrete foundation with a minimum thickness of 300 mm.

Vibration Control: The installation area should be free from vibration sources or equipped with vibration isolation channels.

Safety & Maintenance Notes for Laser Pipe Cutting Machine

1.Pre-Operation Check: Before starting, inspect the Y-axis guide rail and chuck for foreign objects and clean them if necessary.

2.Cooling System Precautions:

When ambient temperature is below 0℃, add antifreeze to the chiller and run it in circulation, or keep the chiller running 24 hours.

When ambient temperature is above 10℃, replace the coolant with purified water.

3.Lubrication: Regularly apply grease to the ball screws (X/Z axes), rotary chuck, rear chuck, and loading rack. Add special oil mist lubricating oil to the chuck air source lubricator.

4.Air Compressor Maintenance: Drain wastewater regularly by opening the discharge valve at the bottom of the air compressor’s air storage tank.

5.Grounding: The machine must be independently grounded.

6.High-Temperature Operation: If condensation (water droplets) appears on the cutting head surface during hot weather, stop operation immediately and adjust the chiller to the proper working temperature.

7.Optical Lens Replacement: Ensure the surrounding environment is clean when replacing lenses. Always turn off fans or any devices that may generate dust.
